There’s something special about winter parades in the northern woods.  Take the Jack Frost Festival of Lights parade in Ironwood.  It starts with Santas racing down main street and includes dancers making music with snow shovels, dogs of all sizes, horses, mountain bikers,  snowmobiles and snow groomers.  And yes, there are also snowball fights on the sidelines.
